Install it

  1. Open the disk image from your Downloads folder.
  2. Drag Keystone to Applications, then open it from there.
  3. Add a connection. Your ~/.aws profiles are already there; nothing to grant.

Keystone keeps itself up to date. It checks for new versions in the background and asks before installing; Keystone › Check for Updates… checks now.

How the trial works

  • The trial starts the first time you open Keystone and runs for 14 days, with nothing held back.
  • When it ends, Keystone still opens, but it won't connect to anything, AWS or local, until you enter a licence.
  • Your connections, saved queries, layouts and entity types are kept, so a licence picks up exactly where the trial left off.
  • Buy a licence at any time, during the trial or after. The key arrives by email; paste it into Keystone › Enter License….

Prefer the App Store?

Keystone is on the Mac App Store too, sandboxed and updated by Apple, and the iPad edition is App Store only. It is the same app; the difference is who sells it. A licence bought here unlocks this download, not the App Store edition, and an App Store purchase does not unlock this download.
